What’s New:

1. Duplicate an Ad from Facebook or LinkedIn to Instagram

Status: General Access

What It Is:

A new feature that allows users to duplicate LinkedIn or Facebook ads (specifically image and video ads) directly to Instagram with a single click, streamlining the ad creation process.

Key Functions:

  • One-Click Duplication: Easily replicate Facebook or LinkedIn video and image ads to Instagram.
  • Cross-Platform Flexibility: Test ad performance across platforms without creating new content.
  • Supports Video and Image Ads: Specifically tailored for video and image ad formats.

Why is it important: This feature simplifies the process of multi-platform advertising, enabling users to quickly expand their reach and test the effectiveness of their ads on different social media channels. It’s particularly useful for marketers looking to maximize their content’s impact with minimal effort.

2. Edit Target Groups on Active Campaigns

Status: General Access

What It Is:

Enhanced feature allowing users to edit Target Groups that are actively linked to experiments in different statuses (draft, active, paused, failed, completed).

Key Functions:

  • Expansion: Builds on the initial release, now permitting edits to Target Groups in use.
  • Flexible Editing Capability: Enables modification of Target Groups at any stage of the experiment.

Why is it important:

This update significantly increases the flexibility and adaptability of campaign management, allowing for real-time adjustments and optimization of targeting strategies, even for live or completed experiments.

Note: Editing a Target Group will affect all active campaigns that are using that particular Target Group. This allows for widespread changes across multiple campaigns, enhancing consistency and efficiency in campaign management.

3. Metadata Analytics

Status: Beta opt-in

What It Is: Includes revamped navigation and Thoughtspot integration, categorizing reports into semantic groups and offering enhanced data interaction capabilities.

Key Functions:

  • Semantic Report Grouping: Reports categorized under ABM, Performance, and Attribution for easier navigation.
  • Customizable Favorites: Users can mark frequently used reports as favorites for quick access, and view their reports under “My reports”.
  • Thoughtspot Integration: Allows in-depth data exploration, comparison, and exportation.

Why is it important: This update transforms how users interact with analytics by providing more organized access and advanced data analysis tools. It enables deeper insights and more personalized reporting experiences, crucial for data-driven decision-making.

4. Discover: Filters & Sales Use Cases

Status: Beta opt-in

What It Is: Enhances customer segmentation by allowing users to filter accounts visiting their website based on various criteria.

Key Functions:

  • Marketing Effort Segmentation: Utilizes UTM filters to segment based on specific marketing campaigns.
  • Intent Signal Analysis: Filters accounts by URLs visited, visitor numbers, and session totals, indicating user interest.
  • Firmographic Data Filtering: Segments based on industry, company size, and revenue.
  • CRM Data Integration: Allows filtering by account owner and differentiates between known and new accounts.
