What’s New:

1. Target Groups

What it is: Enhancement to the Audience Groups functionality, providing a wide range of targeting options for advertisers and marketers.

Key Functions:

  1. Logical Filters: Users can fine-tune their audience selection using both AND and OR filters. This means advertisers can create more specific and complex queries to pinpoint their target audience.
  2. Metamatch Inclusion/Exclusion: Advertisers can now include or exclude Metamatch audiences using native criteria. This provides flexibility in controlling the reach of campaigns.
  3. Native Interface Experience: The updated user interface closely resembles the native interfaces of Facebook and LinkedIn, making it intuitive for users already familiar with advertising on these platforms.

Why is it important:

The new Target Groups allow for precise targeting using AND/OR filters on Facebook and LinkedIn. This helps ads reach the right people, making the most of the budget. The easy-to-use interface adds to the convenience. Overall, this feature is useful for focused and cost-effective marketing.

2. Google Lead Gen Forms:

What it is:

This feature introduces the ability to add Lead Forms to Google campaigns, enhancing lead capture and enrichment.

Why it’s important:

Marketers can now drive better conversions from Search campaigns. The key advantage of Google Lead forms is their versatility; they can be incorporated into Brand Awareness campaigns as they are associated with Ads rather than Offers. This approach broadens opportunities to capture top-of-the-funnel conversions.

3. LinkedIn Document Ads:

What it is:

A new ad type by LinkedIn that has shown to generate even better results than image ads, is now available to use on Lead Generation campaigns (Lead Gen Forms).

Why it’s important:

This feature, requested by several customers, introduces an additional format option known to significantly boost click through rates.

4. Sales Alerts:

Release Date: Nov 9, 2023

What it is:

Sales Alerts have been moved to the “Settings” section and revamped with more meaningful insights to streamline sales outreach.

Why it’s important:

The email content for Sales Alerts has been enriched to provide more meaningful insights, streamlining sales outreach and ensuring that opportunities are not missed.

5. X Audiences

What is is: A new channel is available to push MetaMatch audiences. (Twitter)

Why it’s important: It gives users a new additional targeting option.
